PM Modi Degree Row: The row over Prime Minister’s degree issue seems to be never ending. With the continuous opposition attack on PM Modi, the opposition camp has divided. This time Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Chief Sharad Pawar expressed his opinion over the PM Modi’s degree row.

This is the second time that Pawar has taken stand which is different from the other opposition parties. First time it was on Hindenburg report on Gautam Adani when Pawar has called the report ‘targeted’.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP have once again got the support of Nationalist Congress Party Chief Sharad Pawar. Sharad Pawar said, “Is the degree a bigger question in present situation. Today, discrimination is being created among people in the name of religion and caste. Unseasonal rains have ruined crops in Maharashtra. It is necessary to discuss these issues, added Pawar.

This statement of Sharad Pawar is being considered as a blow to the campaign of the Aam Aadmi Party, which is included in the opposition, which he has started a day before i.e. on Sunday. AAP has started ‘Degree Dikhao Campaign’. Earlier, Pawar had rejected the JPC demand on the Adani case, saying that a Supreme Court-monitored probe would be more correct than the JPC demand, as 15 of the 21 members in the JPC would be from the ruling party.
