IMD Weather Update: Rain In Himachal, Heat Wave Warning For Odisha; Check Forecast For Next 3 Days

The IMD has predicted gradual rise in maximum temperatures by 2-3°C likely over plains of Northwest India during next 2 days.

IMD Weather Update: India will witness some changes in weather condition across the country. While some states will experience rainfall, others will face hot and humid days. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rainfall accompanied with thunderstorm and lightning over Himachal Pradesh, Jammu, Ladakh on Wednesday. Punjab and Uttarakhand are also expected to witness rainfall during 26th-28th March. Meanwhile, Arunachal Pradesh will witness rainfall on 28th and 29th March. Southern states like Kerala and Karnataka are likely to receive rainfall on 26th March.

Heat Wave, Hot And Humid Weather Warning:

With the rising temperatures, hot and humid weather conditions are likely to prevail in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam during 27th-29th March.

Interior parts of Odisha will experience heat wave during 29th March to 1st April.

Temperature Forecast For Coming Days

The IMD has predicted gradual rise in maximum temperatures by 2-3°C likely over plains of Northwest India during next 2 days.

Gradual rise in maximum temperatures by 4-6°C is likely over East India and by 2-3°C over Interior Maharashtra during next 4-5 days.

In Central India, a gradual rise in maximum temperatures by 2-3°C is expected. Also, gradual fall in maximum temperatures by 2-3°C over Gujarat will be observed during next 2-3 days.

IMD Weather Update: Forecast For Delhi

Taking about how the weather will be today in Delhi, the IMD has predicted mainly clear sky. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to remain 39 degrees and 18 degrees Celsius respectively. According to IMD’s observation, the maximum and minimum temperatures are in the range of 36 to 39°C and 16 to 19°C respectively. There has been no large change in minimum and maximum temperatures over Delhi-NCR during the past 24 hours.

Delhi residents may experience the hottest day of March on Wednesday. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted the maximum temperature to soar to 39 degrees Celsius. This will be the highest ever temperature recorded in the month of March, this year.
