Delhi Weather Update: Max Temperature To Hit 39°C, Strong Winds Forecasted For Week; Check Forecast

According to the IMD, there has been no large change in minimum and maximum temperatures over Delhi-NCR during the past 24 hours.

Delhi Weather Update: Delhi residents may experience the hottest day of March on Wednesday. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted the maximum temperature to soar to 39 degrees Celsius. This will be the highest ever temperature recorded in the month of March, this year. Delhi has been facing warm days with rising temperatures. On Tuesday, 25th March, the maximum temperature was recorded at 37 degrees Celsius. The rising temperature has raised concern among the residents regarding the weather conditions in upcoming summer months. While the days are getting hot, humid conditions have not yet been reported. The weather is pleasant with relatively cooler night and morning.

Forecast For Wednesday, March 26

Taking about how the weather will be today, the IMD has predicted mainly clear sky. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to remain 39 degrees and 18 degrees Celsius respectively. According to IMD’s observation, the maximum and minimum temperatures are in the range of 36 to 39°C and 16 to 19°C respectively. There has been no large change in minimum and maximum temperatures over Delhi-NCR during the past 24 hours.

Delhi Weather Update: Forecast For This Week

The IMD has forecasted rising temperatures and strong surface winds this week. Clear skies have been predicted until 28th March, while partly cloudy sky condition is expected on 29th and 30th March. Strong surface winds will prevail over national capital from 27th March and will continue until 29th March. The speed of these surface winds will be 20-30 km/h. Maximum temperature is expected to touch 37 degrees Celsius on 27th March. After 27th March, the maximum temperature will remain in the range of 35-37 degrees Celsius. While there will be a rise in maximum temperature, minimum temperature is expected to remain in the range 17 to 19 degrees Celsius.

AQI In Delhi

The air quality in the national capital continues to remain in the ‘poor’ category. The AQI was recorded at 237 on Wednesday at 6 am, according to the CPCB. Stage-I of GRAP restrictions have been invoked in the entire NCR by the CAQM.
