With Holi, the festival of colors around the corner, the North Division of Indian Railways plans to operate over 15 additional trains. They’ve released the schedules, fares, and routes for these trains. Six trains are scheduled to depart from Delhi as per the orders issued. These trains will connect cities like Katra, Varanasi, and Saharanpur to various destinations.

Additionally, there will be a train from Saharsa to Ambala, and several others from cities like Patna and Gaya to Anand Vihar in Delhi. Three trains passing through Dhanbad in Jharkhand will make stops at three stations in Bihar. The Railways have emphasized strict adherence to their orders and instructions.

The Railway has lined up these special trains

  1. Train number 04033 will run between New Delhi and Udhampur, departing from New Delhi on March 22 and 29. In The Same Way, train number 04034 will go from Udhampur to New Delhi on March 23 and 30. On the way, it will have stoppages like Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana Cantt, Jalandhar Cantt, Pathankot Cantt, and Jammu Tawi.
  2. A special train lined up for Vaishno Devi will operate from New Delhi between March 24 and 31, running twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays. Similarly, the return trip from Katra will occur from March 25 to April 1, also running twice a week on Thursdays and Mondays.
  3. Trains from Delhi Junction to Varanasi will run three days a week between March 21 and 30, specifically on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. In The Same Way, trains from Varanasi to Delhi will run three days a week between March 22 and 31, specifically on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
  4. There will be a Holi special train departing from Delhi to Tundla, Panipat, and Agra every day from March 21 to 24.
  5. Another Holi special train will run from Katra to Varanasi once a week. It will depart from Katra on Sundays and return from Varanasi on Tuesdays.
  6. A train from Howrah to Banaras will run on March 23, making stops at stations like Durgapur, Asansol, Bakhtiyarpur, Patna, Arrah, Buxar, Deendayal Upadhyay Junction, and Varanasi.
