Gunfire Breaks Out In UP Village Following Clash Over Playing Loud Music

The official reported that three others were injured in stone-pelting during the incident in Katakwara village. Circle Officer Vishal Chaudhari of Bisalpur stated that the firing occurred in the Barkhera police station area.

A police official reported that gunshots were fired on Monday in a village in Pilibhit UP, resulting in a man sustaining bullet injuries due to a dispute between two sides over the playing of loud music.

The incident caused several injuries

The official reported that three others were injured in stone-pelting during the incident in Katakwara village. Circle Officer Vishal Chaudhari of Bisalpur stated that the firing occurred in the Barkhera police station area. He mentioned that two sides engaged in a dispute over loud music in the vicinity.

What did the UP police inform about the incident?

The officer stated that Vimal sustained injuries in the firing, while Ankit, Satyapal, and Vinod sustained injuries in the stone-pelting.

The CO stated that the two camps comprised the current village head and a former village head, and mentioned that authorities are probing the matter.
