A devastating road accident occurred Tuesday morning on the Mumbai-Agra Highway in Nashik, Maharashtra, claiming the lives of 10 individuals and leaving over 30 injured. Reports indicate a collision between a Nashik-to-Jalgaon bus and an oncoming truck, necessitating the bus’s midsection to be cut to rescue passengers.

After the accident, bystanders alerted the police, who arrived at the scene with local assistance. They extricated both the injured and deceased passengers from the bus and transported them to the hospital. The collision resulted in a major traffic jam on the highway, attributed to the bus being severely damaged. Initial investigations suggest the cause as a tire burst, leading to the bus driver losing control.
