They apprehended three suspects 20 days after uncovering the murder mystery. On June 16th, Harcharan Singh, a young man from Barnala, died in a car fire. In this incident, Hardeep Singh, another friend of theirs, was also present. The accused revealed that they were aware of the relationship between the deceased Harcharan Singh and accused Sukhdeep Singh's wife Sukhvir Kaur, and he used to intervene in their arguments, which led to disputes between them. On the day of the incident, Sukhvir Kaur, Hardeep Singh, and their accomplice lured Harcharan Singh under false pretenses. They then tied a rope around his neck and applied a chloroform-soaked cloth on his mouth and nose to make him unconscious. Subsequently, they collectively poured petrol into the car and set it on fire.

Suspicious Death Raises Concerns

Former village councilor Gurdeep Singh revealed that Harcharan Singh's body was severely burnt. The villagers and relatives conducted their own investigation and scrutinized CCTV cameras in the vicinity. Upon reviewing the CCTV footage, our suspicion strengthened that it was not an accident but a murder. The villagers informed the police that a few years ago, Sukhjeet Kaur's mother-in-law also died under mysterious circumstances. Now, Harcharan Singh has also died under suspicious circumstances. We demand that the culprits be sentenced to death by hanging, as the deceased left behind two young children.
