Wanted Gangster Arrested: In a rare feat, Delhi Police with the help of Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) arrested the boxer, accused of murder case, in Mexico. He is wanted gangsters and Rs 3 lakh bounty was declared on him.
The is the first time that special team of Delhi Police has arrested the criminal who fled outside the India and extradited from Mexico.
Deepak Boxer was on the run after committing a murder in August 2022. Builder Amit Gupta was shot multiple times on a busy road in Delhi’s Civil Lines area. In a Facebook post, the boxer claimed that Gupta was killed by him and that the motive behind the murder was revenge, not extortion.

Deepak Boxer also claimed that the realtor was linked to a rival gang, the Tillu Tajpuria gang. He said that Amit Gupta was the financier of that gang. Deepak Boxer was the head of the Gogi gang, a position he assumed in 2021 after the murder of Jitendra Gogi.
Police say the boxer used a fake passport to leave the country. He had taken a flight from Kolkata to Mexico on 29 January. The Delhi Police had declared a reward of Rs 3 lakh on Deepak Boxer.
Who is Deepak Boxer?
Deepak Boxer is a 27-year-old gangster who run the Gogi gang after the the murder of Jitendra Gogi, former head gangster of Gogi gang. He was killed in September 2021. Beepak became notorious in 2016 when he freed Gogi from police custody in Haryana.

Earlier this year, there were allegations that the boxer had fled the country using a fake passport with the help of gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar. It was reported that Bishnoi wanted Boxer to manage the gang’s operations from abroad.
