New Delhi: 34 people were injured and 94 animals died in the cyclone 'Biparjoy', said Alok Pandey, relief Commissioner, Gujarat. Commissioner said that work had begun to restore the uprooted electric polls and trees in the coastal districts of Gujarat.Biparjoy storm has caused huge destruction in Gujarat. The storm is expected to weaken over Rajasthan on Friday afternoon. Cyclone Biparjoy made landfall near Gujarat’s Jakhau port on Thursday evening, after spending more than 10 days in the Arabian Sea, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
