New Delhi: Responding to the Congress’ support to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Delhi Ordinace, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national spokesperson RP Singh said that the two parties cannot come together.
RP Singh on Sunday told media person that Congress and AAP are coming together merely for photographs. This comes after AAP and Congress clarified their stands on the Delhi Ordinance relating to the transfer and posting of the bureaucrats in the national capital.
On being asked about his Twitter post regarding Congress support, AAP leader Chadha said that further details on the matter will be released after a meeting of PAC will conclude.

Earlier in the day, Congress leader KC Venugopal had also cleared his party’s stand on Delhi ordinance rolled out by the Centre relating to control over bureaucrats. He said the Indian National Congress (INC) will continue to oppose Centre’s endevours to “sabotage federalism.”

“We are consistently opposing the attempts of the Union government to sabotage federalism. We are consistently opposing the attitude of the central government to run the opposition states through the governors. Our stand is very clear, we are not going to support the Delhi ordinance,” he told the news agency PTI.
Raghav Chadha calls it a Positive Development
This appears to be a “positive dedvelopment” to AAP as mentioned by party leader Raghav Chadha in his tweet. With this, all the speculations have been put on end for now, wondering if Arvind Kejriwal would attend the Opposition meeting or not.
