New Delhi: Union Home Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Amit Shah said he is confident that the saffron party will come to power in 2024 West Bengal Assembly elections.
“BJP will win more than 35 seats in West Bengal in 2024 Lok Sabha elections and Modiji will again become the PM of the country with more than 300 seats,” said the union minister.
Talking to media reporters, Amit Shah said that he visted Birbhum for party’s work and realised that people are enthusiastic that made him confident to say that the BJP will make the government in the state.

Shah said that he had prayed to god that the people in the state will not have to face violence and law and order will prevail in the state.
Earlier in the day, Shah lashed out at West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee-led West Bengal government and urged the public to give 35 seats out of 42 to the Bharatiya Janata Party in the State in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Addressing a ‘Jan Sampark Samavesh’ rally in Birbhum district, Shah said that BJP will not allow this Hitler-like rule of Mamata Didi to continue.

“Mamata didi, you might be dreaming that your nephew will become the Chief Minister after you. From here in Birbhum, I say that the next Chief Minister is going to be from BJP. The trailer has to be shown in 2024 [general elections]. By helping us to win 35 seats in the State, Modi ji has to be made the Prime Minister again,” Shah said.
