Chhath Puja 2024 Traffic Advisory: The National Capital Region (NCR) authorities have issued a traffic advisory as devotees will gather at ghats on Thursday to celebrate the auspicious Chhath Puja celebrations. The traffic advisory provides for restrictions on roads on November 7 and 8, days when people are expected to gather at the ghats. Here is look at the traffic advisory issues for Ghaziabad, Noida and Patna:
Chhath Puja 2024 Traffic Advisory: Ghaziabad
The advisory will be in force from 2 pm till evening on November 7 and from 3 am on November 8, Ghaziabad traffic police said.
The movement of all types of commercial vehicles from New Link Road near DPS Siddharth Vihar and New Bus Adda/Meerut Tiraha towards Hindon Bridge has been restricted.
Additionally, the movement of all types of commercial vehicles from Mohan Nagar towards Hindon Bridge has also been restricted with all such vehicles to be diverted from UP Gate via NH-09.
Commercial vehicles from Meerut to Mohan Nagar or Seemapuri via Meerut Tiraha will be diverted via ALT, Hapur Chungi and Diamond Flyover, using NH-09. Also, these vehicles will be restricted from ALT Chauraha to Rajnagar Extension.

Furthermore, all types of commercial vehicles travelling from Bhopura Tiraha to Nagdwar/Karhera from Hindon Air Force Roundabout also face similar restrictions. All heavy commercial vehicles will also not be allowed to pass from Hapur Chungi to Rajnagar Extension.
Noida Traffic Advisory
The Noida traffic police has also issued similar traffic advisory ahead of the Chhath festival. All commuters going to Delhi via Sarita Vihar area may have to divert towards Kalindi Kunj Road.
If you are travelling from Sector 63 and Hindon Bridge in Kuleshra, you will be diverted to Chotpur, Bahlopur and Nodia Stadium.

Among others, the authorities will redirect heavy vehicles from Greater Noida will be routed from Among other measures, authorities will divert heavy vehicles from Greater Noida from Charkha Roundabout via DND flyover and Chilla to Delhi. If required, vehicles from Sector 37 via Mahamaya Flyover could be redirected to Charkha Roundabout.
Chhath Puja 2024 Traffic Advisory: Patna/Gaya
Like Ghaziabad and Noida, traffic advisories have also been issued for Patna and Gaya in Bihar.

Entry has been closed for these routes in Patn – GB Road, Chand Chaura East, Bengali Ashram to Vishnupad, Koyribadi Mor to Vishnupad, Narayani Bridge to Vishnupad police station and Bata Mor to Tikari Road.

In Gaya, all vehicles reaching Kenduy Ghat from other areas of Gaya city will be diverted via Sikadia Mor, Gewal Bigha Turn, Shahmir Takiya Turn, Mangalagauri Turn, Madanpur Turn and Ghughritand Bypass. Chhath devotees travelling to Pita Maheshwar Ghat from Ramna Road, will use a direct route via Mital Mosaic.
