Patna: Famous Bihar YouTuber Manish Kashyap, Who has been charged in several cases by Bihar and Tamil Nadu police for allegedly making and circulating fake videos of Bihari migrant workers in the southern state, surrendered in Jagdishpur police station in West Champaran district.
Manish was arrested by Jagdishpur Thana police, where he surrendered after Bihar Police reached his house to attack Kashyap’s properties.
He has been booked against charges of circulating false and misleading videos about residents of Bihar working in Tamil Nadu.
In a statement issued by the Economic Offences Unit (EOU) of Bihar Police said, “Manish Kashyap, wanted by Bihar Police and Tamil Nadu Police in spreading fake news in matter of labourers issue in Tamil Nadu, surrendered before the police on Saturday fearing arrest and attachment of his properties”.

According to the Police, the Economic Offences Unit registered three separate cases against him on the charges of spreading fake videos of migrants being beaten up and killed in Tamil Nadu on his Social Media page.
According to Bihar Police, Six teams were continuously conducted raids on his locations at various places and hideouts since Friday. He surrendered at Jagdishpur police station of Bettiah.
