Bihar On Alert As Cyclone Remal Threatens Second Strike At 140 km/h

Cyclone Remal, originating from the Bay of Bengal, has struck Bangladesh and West Bengal, with lingering effects expected in Bihar for the next four to five days. Bihar anticipates pleasant weather as the cyclone approaches, according to IMD reports.

Cyclone In Bihar

Cyclone Remal wreaked havoc in West Bengal, resulting in the deaths of 6 people. In Telangana, heavy rains and strong storms claimed 13 lives across several districts. The cyclone’s impact caused trees and electric poles to be uprooted and led to the collapse of many houses, disrupting road and air services. Bihar is now bracing for the cyclone’s effects, prompting the IMD to issue a cautionary warning to residents.

The cyclone is now set to hit Bihar, bringing pleasant weather to the region. The IMD reported that Cyclone Remal, originating from the Bay of Bengal, has made landfall on the coasts of Bangladesh and West Bengal, but its effects will persist in Bihar for the next four to five days. During this period, many districts in Bihar can expect winds blowing at speeds of 130 to 140 kilometers per hour, accompanied by heavy rain.
