Tech in the fields of mechanical, electrical, or electronics from a recognised university or institution with a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 60% (or 50% for SC/ST students) or an equivalent.

For the position of project supervisor: You need a full-time diploma in mechanical, electrical, electronics, or instrumentation with at least 60% (or 50% for SC/ST) overall or an equivalent cumulative grade point average (CGPA) from a recognised university or institution is required.
Preferred age bracket for positions in the BHEL Recruitment 2022
The desired age requirement to apply for the open positions in the BHEL Recruitment 2022 is 32 years old as of the date that applications are no longer being accepted. For Project Engineers and Project Supervisors, a minimum of 1 year of cumulative Post-Qualification Relevant Work Experience is also required.
For OBC candidates the age restriction will be lowered by 3 years, while for SC/ST candidates it would be lowered by 5 years. Ex-Servicemen and EWS Category reservations and relaxations will follow current governmental regulations. The age restriction would be relaxed by five years if the candidates had their primary residence in the state of Jammu & Kashmir between 01.01.1980 and 31.12.1989 at the time of application.
Remuneration for the Positions Available in the BHEL Recruitment 2022
The monthly salary for individuals applying for the position of project engineer will be Rs. 78,000, while the salary for those chosen for the position of project supervisor will be Rs. 43,550. The candidates will be eligible to receive Reimbursement of Premium for Mediclaim Policy of Rs. 2 lakhs for themselves and their families in addition to the basic pay.

Process for Post-Selection in the BHEL Recruitment 2022
The department will conduct personal interviews with applicants for the open positions, and the individuals will be chosen based on how well they perform. The number of candidates for the personal interview will be limited based on the cumulative marks earned in the qualifying examination (Degree/Diploma) if the number of qualified applicants for a post exceeds the ratio of 1:10 to the number of openings.
