New Delhi: The Telangana High Court on Friday granted bail to all three accused in the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) MLA poaching case.

The court asked the accused to be present before Special Investigation Team (SIT) every Monday. A SIT was formed to probe the matter where three people associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party tried to manipulate a TRS laeader.

A bench of Justice Chillakur Sumalatha noted that the three accused have been in the jail for over a month while, the material part of the investigation has also been completed.

Granting the bail, the court asked the accused to furnish bail bonds of Rs 3 lakh each along with two sureties of the same amount.

TRS MLAs Poaching Case

It is also alleged that Nanda Kumar along with two other accused in the case Ramachandra Bharati alias Satish Sharma and Simhayaji from Tirupati, had made the plan to poach the MLAs while having a stay in the Deccan Kitchen.

The three have allegedly offered Rs 100 Crore to a TRS MLA/informant who revealed that he was asked to leave his party and contest election from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

‘Illegal constrction’ of accused Nanda Kumar demolished

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) had razed off two properties of Nanda which were allegedly constructed illegally. The authories said the properties was pulled down as it was an unauthorised construction.

One of the property named, the Deccan Kitchen restaurant, located at Film Nagar, Jubilee Hills was razed amid heavy police security. As per the GHMC authorities, Nanda Kumar  had taken the land from film producer Daggubati Suresh Babu on lease a few years back.

Afterwards, the accused had built two illegal sheds at the same land without obtaining due permission from the concerned, said the GHMC authorities.
