8 Killed, Including 5 Children, As Vehicle Plunges Into Gorge In Anantnag

On Saturday, a tragic accident near Daksum in Anantnag district, Jammu and Kashmir, claimed the lives of eight people, including five children, when their Tata Sumo lost control and fell into a gorge.

On Saturday, a tragic accident in the Daksum region of Anantnag district, Jammu and Kashmir, resulted in the deaths of eight individuals, including five children, when their vehicle plunged into a gorge.

As per Police report, the Tata Sumo they were traveling in veered off control and rolled down a road close to Daksum. The police stated that the victims comprised five children, two women, and one man, all of whom were traveling from Kishtwar.

A rescue operation was conducted in the area, and officials have registered a case and started an investigation.
