New Delhi: As many as eight people were held after they were found putting up posters saying “Modi Hatao, Desh Bachao” (Remove Modi, Save Country) across the Ahemdabad city.
A case has been registered in the matter while, further action will be taken accordingly. Meanwhile, six people were arrested while 100 FIRs were registered for pasting same posters across Delhi, last week.

The new arrests were made a day after the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) launched its poster campaign against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In the fresh poster war, the AAP raised questions at educational qualification of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
A huge number of posters were seen pasted across Delhi on Thursday asking “Kya Bharat ke PM ko padhe likhe hona chahiye?” (Should the PM of India be well-educated?)
AAP’s senior leader Gopal Rai tweeted to inform that the party will put up posters in the entire nation appealing everyone to remove Prime Minister Narendra Modi ‘to save the nation’. The posters will be printed in 11 languages.

AAP Punjab Participates To Anti-Modi poster campaign
As a part of the AAP campaign, several Punjab AAP leaders on Friday were seen pasting posters across Jalandhar against the Modi regime, showing dissent over the 100 FIRs filed ‘just for putting up the poster.’
Cabinet Minister Harbhajan slammed the saffron party for failing the nation. “The Modi government has failed to check the unemployment rate, corruption and inflation,” he added, during a press conference held in Jalandhar.

Arvind Kejriwal Hits Out At Prime Minister Modi
Following the arrests in the national capital, AAP supremo and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal launched an attack at Prime Minister Narendra Modi alleging dictatorship in the current central dispensation.

“Dictatorship of Modi government is at its peak. What is so objectionable in this poster that Modi ji filed 100 FIRs for putting it? PM Modi, you probably do not know but India is a democratic country. So scared of one poster! Why?,” said the CM.
