New Delhi: Yashoda, a movie starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu, is making money at theatres all around the world. The action movie has reportedly surpassed the Rs 25-crore mark and is still performing well at the box office, according to trade reports. Aside from India, Yashoda has been functioning very well and causing mayhem on the global market. The movie is only a few days away from becoming profitable. Yashoda will soon step into the profit zone.

Yashoda is an action thriller that centres around surrogacy. The movie, which Hari and Harish directed, debuted in theatres on November 11 in five different languages.
Yashoda had topped the Rs 25-crore milestone at the box office after six days in theatres. The movie’s box office receipts slightly declined on its sixth day. The film reportedly made between Rs 80 crore and Rs 1.25 crore (net) at the Indian box office on November 16.
Trade reports predict that, the film will reach breakeven and move into the profit zone within a few days. The filmmakers are incredibly pleased with the finished product.
About Yashoda
Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi are the five Indian languages in which Yashoda has been released. Despite Samantha’s lack of a Bollywood debut, Yashoda has been dubbed and distributed in Hindi in addition to other languages. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Unni Mukundan co-star with Samantha in the movie.
Mani Sharma wrote the soundtrack for Yashoda, and the film’s producers also employed Marthand K Venkatesh as the editor and M Sukumar as the cinematographer. The film is directed by Hari and Harish, will be released on November 11 under the Sridevi Movies banner and produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad.
