Laal Singh Chaddha: A new teaser from the forthcoming movie Laal Singh Chaddha starring Aamir Khan provides a quick look into the setting of the movie. The 20-second teaser shows the title character of Aamir starting his training to join the Indian Army. Kareena Kapoor, Naga Chaitanya, and Mona Singh, who are all co-actors, also make brief cameos. The little clip received a favourable response from the actor’s fans.

The trailer was posted on YouTube on Tuesday night by one of the production firms supporting the movie, Viacom 18 Studios. In the first sequence of the video, Laal takes his mother’s blessings before informing Kareena’s character that his mother wants him to enlist in the military but he is unsure since he dislikes beating people up. The next scene is a montage of Laal’s life at the Army training facility, when he first meets his companion Bala (Naga Chaitanya). At the conclusion, the drill sergeant praises Laal and refers to him as a genius in a sequence that is reminiscent of Forrest Gump.

On social media, Laal Singh Chaddha has been the target of boycott requests from individuals upset by Aamir Khan’s previous remarks on India. In a recent statement, the actor called for people to see his movie and addressed the criticism. Aamir received support from the public in the video’s comments section as well. For the uninformed, Laal Singh Chaddha is the official Hindi adaptation of Tom Hanks’ Oscar-winning film Forrest Gump. Directed by Advait Chandan, the film is set to release in theatres on August 11.
