Indian actor Ajith Kumar is currently enjoying a successful period in his career with two exciting upcoming movies, ‘Vidaamuyarchi’ and ‘Good Bad Ugly.’ Although both films were originally delayed, the team behind ‘Good Bad Ugly’ has recently shared the news about its release date in theatres.
The movie ‘Vidaamuyarchi,’ directed by Magizh Thirumeni, has recently been reviewed and approved by the Central Board of Film Certification. It has received a U/A rating, which means it’s suitable for viewers over 12 years old, and has a total runtime of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
However, the approval included some edits to the film. Specifically, some offensive language has been muted, rude gestures in a scene have been altered, and certain brand names related to alcohol have been removed. Fortunately, these changes are minor and do not affect the overall length of the film.
In a recent interview with The New Indian Express, filmmaker Magizh Thirumeni shared his thoughts on working with the renowned actor Ajith. He highlighted that Ajith was eager to take on a role that would challenge him and help him step outside his usual acting style. Thirumeni also mentioned that the screenplay is designed to be smart and engaging, treating the audience with respect and not underestimating their intelligence.
Magizh shared an experience, saying, “When I first met Ajith, he said, ‘Magizh, let’s create a movie that challenges us both.” This upcoming action thriller is rumoured to be inspired by a Hollywood film called Breakdown. The cast also includes well-known actors Arjun Sarja and Regina Cassandra in important roles. While the release date hasn’t been revealed yet, fans are eagerly looking forward to the movie.
