Varisu box office collection Day 2: Varisu, the much-anticipated film starring Thalapathy Vijay, debuted in theatres on January 11 and grossed over Rs 45 crore overseas. The movie, which competed at the box office with Ajith Kumar’s Thunivu, is currently enjoying phenomenal success. Thunivu outperformed Varisu in the first-day collection. We’ll have to wait and see how the two movies perform over the weekend. Due to Friday being a working day, collections for Varisu and Thunivu slightly decreased. Over the weekend, there will be an uptick in collections.

On January 11, Varisu and Thunivu competed at the box office, with Varisu receiving a five-day opening week. At the box office, the Thalapathy Vijay movie is getting mixed reviews.

The movie scored respectable box office results on January 12, its second day of release. The movie reportedly made between Rs 13 and Rs 15 crore on its second day in theatres, per trade reports. When compared to the opening day receipts, which were approximately Rs 28 crore in India, this represents a decline.

About Varisu

Vamshi Paidipally is the director of Varisu, which also has R. Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Shaam, Srikanth, Yogi Babu, and Jayasudha in key parts.

Vijay is one of the biggest stars in this country, director Vamshi said exclusively to IndiaToday.in on working with him. On the set, he did not, however, act like a superstar. He consistently delivered flawless takes and was highly professional. He simply gave up. And that was incredible. Working with Vijay was a memorable experience that I don’t believe I’ll ever forget. One of my most treasured memories is this one.

Before Varisu, Vijay was last spotted in Beast. Both in theatres and on online services, the movie did well.

A Shift Towards BJP's Aggressive Hindutva Amid Opposition's Leadership Crisis

The Maharashtra election may further push the Congress down as it has lost the election at a time when it needed a win most desperately. Though the Congress succeeded in pushing the BJP to a corner and stopping it at less than a majority on its own, it failed to make any headway further.
