After striking a deep emotional chord with audiences, Vadh is set to return with a sequel. Luv Films has officially announced Vadh 2, directed and written by Jaspal Singh Sandhu and Rajiv Barnwal, who also made the first film. The crime drama starring Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta tells a powerful story about right, wrong, and survival.
Sharing the announcement on social media along with a new poster, the production house wrote, “संघर्ष नया, कहानी नई क्या गलत और क्या है सही जानीये 6 फ़रवरी को #Vadh2 In Cinemas 6th February 2026.”
The crime drama is set to hit theatres on February 2, 2026.

Released in 2022,The story revolves around Shambhu Mishra, a poor retired teacher, kills a local goon who tries to harm his student. As the police and politicians close in, a corrupt cop helps him cover up the crime out of sympathy. In the end, Shambhu and his wife start a new life and gift their old house to the student.
The film premiered at the 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) under the Indian Panorama section. On Rotten Tomatoes, 50% of six critics’ reviews were positive, with an average rating of 5.5/10. Though it earned an estimated ₹60 lakh (lifetime) at the box office, Vadh gained praise for its strong performances.
Apart from Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta, the cast also included Saurabh Sachdeva, Manav Vij, Nadeem Khan, and Jaspal Singh Sandhu. The film currently streams on Amazon Prime Video.
