New Delhi: Vaani Kapoor celebrated her 34th birthday with friends Akansha Ranjan and Anushka Ranjan. The actor, who recently appeared in Ranbir Kapoor’s Shamshera, shared a photo of her midnight birthday cake-cutting session with her besties. Vaani took to Instagram Stories on Tuesday to share a few photos and short videos of herself posing with the sisters.

The Bell Bottom actress shared how she celebrated her birthday in a clip in which she blew out a huge white candle while Anushka and Akansha Ranjan sat on either side of her and kissed her on the cheek. As the three posed together, a birthday cake was placed on the table in front of them. The birthday girl wore a white tank top with grey pants, Akansha wore a comfortable white and peach pyjama set, and Anushka wore black shorts and a black T-shirt.
Vaani made her film debut in 2013 with ‘Shuddh Desi Romance,’ and has since appeared in films such as ‘Befikre,’ ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui,’ and ‘War.’ Her most recent film was ‘Shamshera,’ in which she co-starred with Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. “I really feel that Ranbir puts his soul into his characters and you can connect to the soul of the person he’s playing on screen,” Vaani ahd said of sharing the frame with Ranbir. His acting is so natural that you don’t even notice he’s acting! This is exactly why it feels magical to see him perform on screen and it is for this reason that I am looking forward to seeing us together on screen.”
