New Delhi: The comedy-drama Thank God, starring Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra, and Rakul Preet Singh, is a tremendous letdown. The movie opened in theatres on October 25 alongside Ram Setu, starring Akshay Kumar. Fans had high expectations for the film, but it fell short of them. According to the early indications, Thank God continued to deteriorate on Day 8. It just made a little over Rs 1.55 crore in a single day. As a result, the total domestic box office revenue is currently Rs 32.40 crore. On November 1, Thank God had an overall Hindi occupancy of 8.42 per cent.

Actor Sidharth Malhotra, who plays the lead character, described Thank God as a pleasant comedy with a social message at its core. Indra Kumar, who is known for the comedy Dhamaal and Ishq, is in charge of directing it.
In the film, Sidharth plays a conceited guy who, following an accident, ends up in “Yamlok,” where Chitragupta, portrayed by Ajay Devgn, offers him a second chance at life in exchange for participating in a game.
