New Delhi: Shraddha Kapoor confirms the second installment of her 2018 horror-comedy Stree, that starred Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead. Varun Dhawan’s latest song from Bhediya, titled ‘Thumkeshwari’ gave us a glimpse of Shraddha Kapoor, establishing the same.
Shraddha’s appearance in Bhediya’s song Thumkeshwari has established Stree’s connection with the Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon-starrer. Shraddha shared a behind-the-scene video from Thumkeshwari, where she revealed that the makers are going to shoot Stree 2 very soon.

“Super vibe, its so nice to be back on set. Its so exciting for me because we are going to start Stree 2 very very soon,” she said in the video.
Sharing the BTS video, the Stree actress captioned, “Stree 👻 Meets 🐺 Bhediya #Thumkeshwari.”
Meanwhile, after Shraddha’s appearance in the dance number, there is a buzz that Varun Dhawan might star opposite Shraddha in the second installment of Stree.
The makers of Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon starrer Bhediya has dropped its sizzling song ‘Thumkeshwari’ on October 28. The track is an item number featuring Varun and Kriti in a power-packed dance. The song has been sung by Ash King, Sachin-Jigar, and Rashmeet Kaur.
The music of the item song has been given by Sachin-Jigar, while the lyrics have been penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The track is a peppy number, which is definitely one of the party anthems of the year.
Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film is all set to hit the theatres on November 25. Produced by Jio Studios and Maddock Films, Bhediya marks Amar Kaushik’s third collaboration with the banner after Stree and Bala. Bhediya will be a Pan-India release in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil in 2D and 3D.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Varun will be next seen in Ekkis and Sajid Nadiadwala’s Sanki. He is also doing the Russo Brothers’ web series, Citadel for Amazon Prime with Raj and DK as the director.
