New Delhi: On Wednesday, a few days after the release of the Selfiee trailer, the makers released the first song Main Khiladi from the film. The song is a replica of Main Khiladi Tu Anari from the 1994 film of the same name, which starred Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan. Returning to Main Khiladi, the song stars Akshay Kumar, Emraan Hashmi, Nushratt Bharuccha, and Diana Penty. The dance-off between Akshay and Emraan is the song’s highlight.
The new song features Akshay in a shimmery green blazer and Emraan Hashmi in a shimmery black jacket, as opposed to the original’s black blazer and tie and Saif in a brown jacket.
Udit Narayan and Abhijeet Bhattacharya sang the song Main Khiladi. Tanishk Bagchi rebuilt, programmed, and arranged the track, which was originally composed by Anu Malik. Maya Govind wrote the original lyrics.

On social media, Akshay Kumar shared a snippet from the track and he wrote: “Lights, camera, naacho (dance).Main Khiladi full song out now. Selfiee in cinemas from 24th February.”
Tanishk speaking more about the song said, “I always compose every song as it’s my first. The experience of making Main Khiladi was groovy & fun. However, after Tip Tip’s huge hit, the pressure was more as this song was being composed for the OG Khiladi, ‘Akshay Kumar’. The wacky steps have added more pep to the song. We have worked so hard for this. This is going to be your new favorite song to play on a loop.”

About Selfiee
Raj Mehta directed Selfiee, which is based on the 2019 Malayalam film Driving Licence, which starred Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaramoodu. The film will be released in theatres on February 24.
