New Delhi: The security outside Salman Khan’s Mumbai residence was beefed up following the receipt of a threatening email. Although an FIR has been filed against gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, it is advised that the actor refrain from attending ground events.
According to media reports, a source close to the police revealed that there is quite a serious atmosphere around the actor’s residence and family. The source said, “Everyone in Salman Khan’s family and his team are serious and very concerned about his safety. These new threats have shaken things up, but they also know that the police has responded well and is making sure that the security arrangements are appropriate.”

Salman Khan’s schedule has also been recommended to be altered by the police, keeping his security in mind. The source also added, ” “His team has been told to avoid any on ground events for the next few days. He also has a movie release coming up and they will have to plan any promotional activities accordingly.”

The release of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is scheduled for April. Security might need to be taken into account when planning promotional activities, which usually begin a month in advance. According to ETimes, the actor is currently not stationed in Mumbai, and it’s not clear when he’ll return.
