Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, is gearing up for his highly anticipated directorial debut with the Netflix series Ba***ds of Bollywood which was announced earlier this year and has already created buzz in the entertainment industry.
At the recent Waves 2025 Summit, Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos shared his excitement about the series while speaking with actor Saif Ali Khan. To which Saif added, “I have to say I saw a little bit of that show as well, the one you just mentioned and it looked fantastic. My kids have done a little appearance in it.”

When unveiling the title earlier this year, Shah Rukh Khan teased “There is a story behind this name and Aryan and his team will present it later before you.” While much of the show’s plot remains under wraps, the series promises “An unabashed, entertaining ride through the adventures of a charming, ambitious outsider navigating the glitzy yet tricky world of Bollywood.”

Produced by Gauri Khan, the series is co-created by Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan, who also share writing credits with Aryan. Reports suggest the cast includes Bobby Deol, Mona Singh and newcomers Sahher Bambba, and Lakshya in leading roles. The show is also expected to include cameo appearances from Bollywood stars including Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh. The release date of the show has not been announced yet but it is expected to be released this year on Netflix.
