Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan were spotted together for the first time on Sunday morning, just days after Saif’s discharge from Lilavati Hospital. This public appearance comes after Saif was attacked in his Mumbai residence earlier this month.
Saif Ali Khan’s Discharge From Hospital
On January 16, Saif Ali Khan was attacked by an intruder at his Bandra home. The attacker stabbed him multiple times, injuring both Saif and a female employee. Following the attack, Saif was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent treatment for severe injuries, including three stab wounds- one to his neck and two on his hand, with the most critical injury being a stab to his spine. After five days in the hospital, Saif was discharged on January 21, with doctors advising rest for his full recovery.

First Public Appearance With Tight Security
The couple was seen stepping out of their Bandra residence amid heavy security measures. In a video shared by paparazzo Viral Bhayani, Saif and Kareena are seen accompanied by police personnel for safety. While Kareena walked ahead in a casual grey sweatshirt, black track pants, and a black baseball cap, Saif followed closely behind, dressed in a navy-blue t-shirt and denim jeans, with dark sunglasses to complete his look. The couple swiftly made their way to their car, maintaining a low profile.
The Attack Incident Details
The terrifying incident occurred in the early hours of January 16 when Saif heard noises coming from his son Jeh’s room. Upon investigation, he found one of his female employees being attacked. Saif intervened, resulting in an altercation with the attacker. Saif was stabbed six times during the struggle and was immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment. Doctors successfully removed a sharp object lodged near his spine and performed the necessary repairs to stabilize his condition.
Saif’s recovery has been progressing well, and he was moved from the intensive care unit (ICU) to a special room on January 17. Doctors have advised him to take it easy for the next few days to ensure complete healing. Despite the traumatic event, Saif and Kareena’s first public appearance shows a positive step towards returning to normalcy.
