New Delhi: War, directed by Siddharth Anand, was one of the year’s highest-grossing pictures. Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff played the key parts in the film. The audience enjoyed watching their tense confrontation throughout the film. Following the film’s massive success, Yash Raj Films decided to proceed with the sequel.
It was recently announced that filmmaker Ayan Mukerji would be directing War 2. Having said that, Hrithik will reprise his role as the lead in this action-packed flick.
Ayan Mukerji is paid Rs 11 to 12 crore
Now according to media reports, Ayan Mukerji has been paid a hefty paycheck to direct hrithik Roshan’s War 2. A source close to the development told a media portal that the director has been paid Rs 11 to 12 crore.
According to a source, War 2 is complete on paper, and Ayan is pleased with what he’s read. The cast is also nearly complete.
“War 2 is going to be a huge film. The canvas is going to be massive and beyond anyone’s expectations. After tasting success with Pathaan, Aditya Chopra now wants to go all out with War 2 and make it as sexy, stylish and sleek as the first part. Adi was impressed with Ayan’s sensibilities as a director and that’s the reason he decided to bring him on board.”
The story of WAR directed by Siddharth Anand ended on a cliffhanger, featuring Tiger Shoff and Hrithik Roshan is all renewed for the sequel.
