New Delhi: The morning of April 4 proved to be exciting for movie fans. Fans were ecstatic to learn of another interesting development after Ayan Mukerji said that Brahmastra Parts 2 and 3 would be shot concurrently. A significant development is that YRF has chosen Ayan Mukerji to helm WAR 2.

The story of WAR directed by Siddharth Anand ended on a cliffhanger, featuring Tiger Shoff and Hrithik Roshan is all renewed for the sequel. On April 4, Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and announced that Aditya Chopra has roped in Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji to helm WAR 2. Other than the good news, it has also been revealed that Hrithik Rishan has been locked in for the lead role in the forthcoming movie.

The events of Tiger3 will be followed by WAR 2, which comes seventh in the YRF Spy Universe. The Tiger franchise, produced by Aditya Chopra and starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, debuted the spy genre in 2012. Ek Tha Tiger came out in 2012, and Tiger Zinda Hai came out in 2017. Then, in 2019, War continues the espionage universe. The smash film Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham, was the most recent entry in the universe. The films mentioned above performed incredibly well at the box office.
