New Delhi: Ram Setu has been effective in restoring Akshay Kumar’s reputation in the movie business. This Akshay Kumar-starring movie is finally doing well at the box office after a string of failures. Along with Thank God, starring Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra, the movie came out on October 25. The film is triumphant in the race, nevertheless. Interestingly, the film also had the second-largest opening of the year, behind Brahmastra. With these stats, the movie appears to have a lot of potentials.
Box Office Collection
Ram Setu, which was also released on October 25, fought hard against Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra’s Thank God. The Akshay Kumar movie has slowed considerably, but it is still doing well in comparison. The film has experienced strong day 3 business despite conflicting evaluations. As per the media reports, the movie made Rs 7.80 crore in a single day on October 27. As a result, the total amount collected is now Rs 34.45 crore. It will be interesting to observe if the film continues to grow after the first weekend.
For Akshay Kumar, who has recently had bad luck at the box office, the numbers are encouraging. Samrat Prithviraj (June 3, 2022), Bell Bottom (August 19, 2021) and Raksha Bandhan (March 18, 2022) are the actor’s four failures (August 11, 2022). Sooryavanshi was his lone hit during this period (Nov 5, 2021). Ram Setu’s opening day was his best of the year by that metric.
