The much-awaited sequel of the year, Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring the national award-winning actor Allu Arjun and the popular Rashmika Mandanna, directed by the visionary Sukumar, is confirmed to release in theaters worldwide on August 15, 2024. The official X (formerly Twitter) handle of Mythri Movie Makers, production house, has underlined that some major update is underway over the Pushpa 2, which is going to launch on April 2, 2024.

As previously announced, the official teaser of the movie is set to be revealed on April 8, 2024, coinciding with Allu Arjun’s birthday. This confirmation has been directly communicated by the Pushpa 2 team through their official social media channels. “Keep your fireworks on standby… Just witnessed the final cut of #Pushpa2Teaser, and it’s simply mind-blowing,” the team posted.
However, the date has been changed and recently, Mythri Movie Makers made this announcement indicating the release of the teaser on April 2.

In addition to Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, the film features a stellar cast, including Fahadh Faasil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Sunil, Jagadeesh, and others in significant roles. Allu Arjun also mentioned that in Pushpa 2, the story will unfold on both national and international levels, with the conflict between the protagonist Pushpa Raj and police officer Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, portrayed by Fahadh Faasil, escalating further.
Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa: The Rise earned Allu Arjun the National Award for Best Actor. In the sequel, the actor will reprise his role as Pushpa Raj, alongside Fahadh Faasil as Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat and Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on August 15, coinciding with the release of Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again.
