New Delhi: Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1 starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna was a box office success. Rashmika as Srivalli played the quintessential eye candy in the film. Fans of the actress, however, want her to play a larger and more impactful role in Pushpa 2: The Rule. Pushpa 2 recently went on floors with a Puja ceremony and one of the fans requested that the makers portray Srivalli’s character stronger and more impactful. Rashmika’s response drew everyone’s attention. “I hope so too, let’s see,” the actress replied to the fan.

We’re wondering if Rashmika hasn’t read the script yet, which would explain her response. Meanwhile, there have been numerous reports about Pushpa 2’s story. There were reports a few months ago that Rashmika’s character Srivalli would die in the sequel. However, the producers denied the reports at the time, claiming that the film was still in the scripting stage.
Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 also stars Fahadh Faasil in a pivotal role. The shooting of the film will reportedly start this month, and it will hit the big screens in 2023.
