Ponniyin Selvan 2: They’re back—the Cholas! Ponniyin Selvan: Part 1, directed by Mani Ratnam, became a great box office success in 2022. The part 2 is the sequel to the movie, and its creators are currently preparing it for distribution. Aga Naga, the first song from the second movie, was unveiled by the creators on March 20. The background music for the movie is currently being composed in London by director Mani Ratnam and composer AR Rahman.

Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2 will be shown on screens in five languages on April 28. The release of the song “Aga Naga” served as the catalyst for the movie’s publicity campaign.
In the face of intense anticipation, the song’s creators debuted Aga Naga on March 20. The first segment with Trisha and Karthi included a bit of the song.

About the film
Ponniyin Selvan is based on the well-known Kalki Krishnamurthy novel in Tamil of the same name. Karthi, Trisha, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Chiyaan Vikram, and Jayam Ravi play the leading parts in the historical drama. The supporting cast includes Lal, Prabhu, Ashwin Kakumanu, Sobhita Dhulipala, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and Mohan Raman.
