The soundtrack has been composed by AR Rahman. The film’s cinematography is done by Ravi Varman. It has been distributed in Tamil Nadu by Red Giant Movies. The film is released in five different languages.
New Delhi: Ponniyin Selvan: Part 1 is doing very well at the box office. According to trade reports, the film has gained Rs 300 crore at the box office worldwide and still growing. The film is doing exceptionally well in India as well as in the overseas market and is expected to break more records.

Trade analyst Ramesh Bala took to Twitter to confirm that PS has collected Rs 300 crore worldwide in just five days. There is good news for the makers of the film that no big releases are coming up until Diwali, then the film has a major advantage.
