On May 19, renowned astrologer P Khurrana, the father of actor Ayushmann Khurrana, passed away. He wrote his father a heartfelt letter on Thursday (May 25, 2023) on social media. The emotional note reads, “Maa ka khayal rakhna hai aur humesha saath rehna hai.” “Pita jaisa banne ke liye bahut duur jaana padta hai apne pita se.” Pehli baar aisa mehsoos ho raha hai ki papa bahut duur aur bahut qareeb hain humare. Thank you for your upbringing, love, sense of humour and the most beautiful memories. Jai jai (sic).”

P Khurrana’s death
P Khurrana, a well-known astrologer and the father of Ayushmann Khurrana passed away on May 19. He was brought to Fortis Hospital in Mohali, Punjab, where he has been receiving treatment for heart illness for the past two days. At 5.30 pm on Friday, Ayushmann and his brother Aparshakti conducted their final rites at the Manimajra Cremation Ground in Chandigarh. Tahira Kashyap and Aakriti Ahuja, who are their respective wives, were also seen.
While sharing this sad news, Aparshakti Khurana’s spokesperson said, “It’s with our deep sadness to inform that Ayushmann and Aparshakti Khurana’s father, Astrologer P Khurana passed away this morning at 10:30 am in Mohali, owing to a prolonged incurable ailment. We are indebted for all your prayers and support during this time of personal loss.”
