New Delhi: GodFather starring Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan is all set to hit the theatres on October 5 in both Hindi and Telegu languages. Now the trailer of the highly anticipated action drama was launched in Mumbai. The trailer was unveiled in the presence of Chiranjeevi, Salman Khan and a few others.

During the media interaction, Salman Khan shared his views about working in South films. The actor said that while many people aspire to do Hollywood films, he wants to do South films.

Salman said, “People want to go to Hollywood, I want to go to the South. Once we start working together, just imagine the numbers we would have. People watching it here, people watching it in the south. Their fans watch the film, my fans will watch the films. We talk of 300 and 400 crore, but if we work together, we might do 3000 crore.”

Now talking about the trailer, it is full of actions and political drama. Chiranjeevi is seen doing some high-octane action sequences. The icing on the cake is Salman Khan’s powerful entry.

The movie has been helmed by Mohan Raja. GodFather is the official Telegu remake of the 2019 movie Lucifer. The cast of the movie also includes Lady Superstar Nayanthara, director Puri Jagannadh and Satya Dev as pivotal characters, among others.

Salman Khan to play an extended cameo in his maiden Tollywood movie. The Tiger Zinda Hai actor plays a character similar to the one played by Prithviraj in Lucifer.

The film is set to open in theatres on October 5, on the occasion of Dussehra. Chiranjeevi’s Godfather will be clashing with Nagarjuna’s action drama, The Ghost at the box office, which is slated to hit the screens on the same day.

On the workfront, Salman Khan will be seen in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The movie is slated to release by the end of 2022.
