After a long dry spell in Bollywood following the Covid-19 pandemic, Shah Rukh Khan has finally managed to resurrect the theatres. Fans are especially delighted to see their favourite celebrity in a full-fledged role after a four-year absence. It’s no surprise that money is pouring in at the box office. Pathaan earned an astounding Rs 70 crore in India on Republic Day, January 26.

Pathaan, which was released on January 26, has dominated the box office. The film, which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, had a strong opening weekend at the box office! According to early estimates, the film grossed approximately Rs 70 crore on Day 2 in India. The Siddharth Anand-directed film had a 65% occupancy rate. The Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions added another Rs 2 to 3 crore to the overall budget.
Meanwhile, Pathaan’s total worldwide box office collection on Day 2 has surpassed Rs 235 crore.
About Pathaan
The film brings together Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham for the first time. Siddharth Anand directs the film, which is produced by Yash Raj Films. It’s the fourth entry in the YRF Spy Universe. The film is set to be released on January 25, 2023, during the Republic Day weekend, with dubbed versions in Tamil and Telugu. In the film, Shah Rukh Khan will play Pathaan, a RAW field agent. Vishal-Shekhar composed the music for the movie, and Sanchit and Ankit Balhara composed the score.
