New Delhi: After the death of legendary actor Arun Bali on Friday in Mumbai, Neena Gupta paid tribute to him. She turned to Instagram and uploaded a throwback photo with him from the set of the Parampara series. Arun is dressed as a sadhu (holy man) with rudraksha around his neck in the photo, while Neena is seated on the floor in a red-brown saree. Arun Bali was most recently featured in Amitabh Bachchan and Neena Gupta’s Goodbye, which came out on October 7. He is most known for his portrayal of Harshvardhan Wadhwa in Kumkum.

She captioned the picture, “Goodbye #ArunBali. My first day of shoot on the Parampara series set years ago with Arun Bali. So glad we got to shoot recently for Goodbye.”

Neena made her acting debut in Saath Saath. She later appeared in other films, including Mandi, Rihaee, Badhaai Ho, and Suraj Ka Satvan Ghoda.

Arun Bali was most recently seen in Vikas Bahl’s Goodbye, in which he co-starred with Amitabh Bachchan, Rashmika Mandanna, Neena Gupta, Sunil Grover, Pavail Gulati, Elli AvrRam, and Sahil Mehta. Balaji Motion Pictures, Ekta Kapoor’s production company, is behind it. The film’s plot revolves around the death of a family member, played by Neena. Her husband (Amitabh) wants to bury her in a traditional manner, but their daughter (Rashmika) disputes all of the ancient traditions.
