Miss World 2024: Czech Republic’s Krystyna Pyszková on Saturday crowned Miss World at the 71 edition of the Miss World 2024 held in India after the gap of 28 years. The event held at Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
Hailing from Karnataka, Sini Shetty – a 22-year-old Mumbai native represented India at the global stage. Shetty is an trained dancer. Under the guidance of renowned classical dancer Radhakrishnan Padmini, she attained her Arangetram in Bharatanatyam dance form at a very young age.

Advancing the contest, Shetty advanced to the top 8 at the Miss World 2024 Grand Finale. Shetty also won the Femina Miss India 2022.
As far as the competition is concerned, it features a total of 112 contenders, with 28 contestants representing various African nations across the world.

The founder and chairperson of the Reliance Foundation, Nita Ambani was honoured with a humanitarian award for her social and charitable work, during the Miss World 2024 event. On the other hand, actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas also graced the occasion with the video message.
Miss World Tunisia is awarded as the winner of the talent contest at the mis world 2024 even, while the Vietnam contestant was crowned as the Multi-Media Challenge and Sports Challenge was won by Croatia.
In the event, several prominent personalities including the wife of the Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis – Amruta Fadnavis, winner of the reality TV show Bigg Boss 17, Munawar Faruqui and others were present.
