Love Shaadi Drama: On Friday, Hansika Motwani’s reality show, Hansika’s Love Shaadi Drama, debuted on Disney+ Hotstar. The documentary not only depicts how the actress and her family prepared for the wedding, but it also addresses several claims levelled against Hansika and her husband, Sohael Khaturiya, around the time of the wedding.
People started talking about Sohael’s first marriage to someone named Rinky on social media shortly after Hansika announced her engagement to Sohael. Hansika, who allegedly attended their wedding a few years ago, and Rinky used to be the best of friends. As word of this spread on social media and later on news websites, Hansika began to receive a lot of trolling for’stealing’ her best friend’s husband. People constantly accused her of breaking into Rinky’s home in all of her social media posts, whether they were about her wedding or something else.
Hansika Motwani opens up on allegations of breaking her hubby’s first marriage
The actress and Sohael responded to the reports in the last few minutes of the first episode of Love Shaadi Drama. Hansika enters her trailer after wrapping up the day’s filming and sees all the headlines about her and Sohael and how she is being held accountable.
Sohael said, “The news that I was previously married came out and it came out in a wrong light. It came out as if the breakup was because of Hansika, which is absolutely untrue and baseless.”
“Just because I knew the person at that time doesn’t mean it was my fault. I have nothing to do with this. Because I am a public figure, it was very easy for people to point at me and make me the villain. This was a price I pay for being a celebrity,” Hansika says in her piece to the camera.
Sohael explains, “I was first married in 2014 and that marriage lasted for a very short time. But just because we have been friends and someone saw pictures of her attending my wedding, is why this speculation started.”
