New Delhi: Kaun Banega Crorepati was a hit in the 14th season, and its fans are eagerly waiting for the premiere of season 15. The show’s 15th season is back with Amitabh Bachchan as a host. KBC’s new promo depicts how the country is changing with time and technology.
Yesterday, Sony TV unveiled the promo of the upcoming season taking to their social media handles. In the newly released promo, we can see a woman, who is attending a virtual meeting sitting at her home. While at the same time, she is also practicing football with her son under the table.
Next we see a young man selling goods in the traffic, but instead of taking cash he shows a QR scanner tattooed on his arm to collect money from his customer. The promo also highlights the success rates of small businesses, content creators and influencers. The promo ends with Amitabh Bachchan saying that all these are signs of progress when a country changes and evolves.
With these hints towards a tech-savy season, we can speculate an interesting change in this year’s KBC.
According to a statement by the channel, “India has embraced change; a change that fosters growth, a change that has rehauled our mindset and a change that drives new aspirations. In India, ‘badi shaan se, bade gyan se – dekho sab kuch badal raha hai’, and mirroring this transformation is the nation’s biggest game show, Kaun Banega Crorepati.”
