New Delhi: The makers of Amitabh Bachchan hosted quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati season 14 has announced the premiere date of the show. The show is all set to air on August 7 at 9 pm on Sony TV. Earlier promos have kept the viewers apprehensive of something bigger.
In the promotional video, we can see Padma Bhushan recipient, actor Aamir Khan, Padma Vibhushan boxing champion MC Mary Kom and Padma Sri Sunil Chhetri will be special guests on the show.

The show will be also graced by Kargil war veteran Major DP Singh, Sena medal gallantry recipient Col Mitali Madhumita, as the show celebrates 75th year of India’s Independence. Amitabh then announces the names of all the special guests.
Well as a special surprise, the show has added a new slot of prize money worth Rs 75 lakh to the game, as part of 75th year of independence. It’s going to be a grand watch for the audience as the guests shall be welcomed with dhol beats and dance.
Kaun Banega Crorepati 14 earlier promos focussed on spreading awareness about not believing in half-baked stories. The promos has been teasing viewers for quite a long time now.
A new introduction in the final level by makers of KBC
The makers have added a special jackpot prize for the contestants this season to celebrate 75 years of independence. After answering the 1 crore question, if the contestant fails to give the right answer for the 7.5 crore question, then they need not go home empty-handed but take home Rs 75 lakh after reaching the final level.
Apart from KBC 14, Amitabh has many films in the pipeline. He will be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna.
