The title of this film has kept the excitement of the fans very high. Now to double this excitement, the funny trailer for the film ‘Kathal’ has come out. Actress Sanya Malhotra in the role of a police inspector, who is looking for a politician’s missing jackfruit.

The much-anticipated Kathal trailer was released by the producers on May 4. The comedy movie, which also features Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Yadav, and Gurpal Singh, centres on a group of police officers who are assigned to investigate the theft of jackfruits from a politician’s home. It may be absurd, but the trailer is the same.

The film’s Mobba Town setting may make the plot seem absurd, but the police who become involved in the search for missing Kathal deal with a similar predicament.
The fact that the movie is based on “roughly true events” is revealed to the audience at the beginning as a catch. Sanya will be seen as a police officer, who is in charge of the investigation into the disappearance of Kathal. Vijay Raaz portrays the politician who wants the police to seek his missing jackfruits, and Rajpal Yadav, who is well renowned for his comic timing, plays the journalist who is following the strange case.

About the Film
A local politician’s cherished jackfruits (Kathals) go stolen in the course of this female-centric comedy, and rookie police officer Mahima, played by Sanya Malhotra, is determined to solve the mystery to establish her credentials.
In addition to Kathal, actress Sanya Malhotra is now filming Jawan, the Atlee-directed movie that will mark her first collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan.
Sanya is also working on Sam Bahadur, directed by Meghna Gulzar, alongside Vicky Kaushal and Fatima Sana Shaikh. She is also set to star in the Hindi remake of the critically acclaimed Malayalam film The Great India Kitchen.
