New Delhi: Rishab Shetty’s Kantara Telegu version has gone all out at the box office, breaking records in dubbing history. Kantara is keeping strong hold in Telugu states, despite the release of many other films.
The Telegu states did not expect such tremendous earning with this kind of domination at the box office. ‘Kantara’ stands alone collecting more than 45 crores. ‘Kantara’ also beats Tamil big shot movies like Kamal Hasaan’s ‘Vikram’ and mani Ratnam’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan’.
In the USA, the Telegu version crossed half a million dollars. It’s been 15 days since the movie is out in Telugu and to date, it has grossed a total of Rs. 45 crores worldwide.
Kantara is written, directed and also acted by Rishab Shetty. The story revolves around the conflict between man and nature. Achyuth Kumar, Sapthami Gowda, Pramod Shetty and Kishore were seen in supporting roles. The film is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under Hombale Films.
