New Delhi: Today, August 19, the whole country is celebrating the birthday of Lord Krishna i.e., Janmasthami. On this occasion, many Bollywood stars are performing puja at their homes and sending their genuine wishes to fans on social media.

Taking to Twitter, Big B Amitabh Bachchan shared a small clip from his one the film, where he can be seen the Dahi Handi, he captioned, “Ala re Ala Govinda Ala” (In Hindi).

He also shared another post, he wrote in Hindi, “Janmashtami mangalmai ho.”

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn shared a post on Twitter, which reads, “Jab Krishna Bhagwan aapke saarthi ho, tab zindagi ki har mushkil asaan ho jaati hai. Janmashtami ki hardik shubhkamnayein” (in Hindi).

Bollywood megastar Hema Malini shared a post on her Instagram handle, and captioned it, “It is that festival tonite which we all look fwd to with joy & enthusiasm. Yes! It is Shri Krishna Janmashtami, which celebrates the birth of the Lord who came to earth to annihilate all evil. His Bhagvat Gita is acknowledged as the best treatise on how to live an honorable life.”
