HIT 2 Trailer Out: The makers of Adivi Shesh starrer HIT: The 2nd Case released its trailer on November 23. Helmed by Sailesh Kolanu, the film is a sequel to the 2020 hit film HIT: The 1st Case. The two-and-a-half-minute trailer reveals the basic details of the plot.
Well, talking of the HIT 2 trailer, fans have drawn parallels to the Shraddha Walker case. The trailer shows a cop Krishna Dev (Adivi Shesh) trapped in solving a case where the criminal chops off a woman’s body. Coincidentally, the name ‘Shraddha’ mentioned in the trailer keeps us wondering about the similarity with the Delhi murder case. Although the script was written a year ago.

Meanwhile, at the trailer launch of HIT 2, Adivi Sesh said, “Yeah, I think the film has an eerie similarity to the recent Shraddha case, and the name in the trailer is also Shraddha. About a year ago, Sailesh wrote the script. And there are more real-life similarities with the case we’re dealing with in the film HIT2 (sic).”
HIT 2 will star Menakshii Chaudhary, Rao Ramesh, Bhanu Chander, Posani Krishna Murali, Tanikella Bharani, Srikanth Maganti, Komali Prasad in prominent roles, along with the rest.
Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, the background score has been provided by John Stewart Eduri. The original flick revolved around a police officer Vikram, who worked for the Crime Investigation Department (CID). While HIT was set against the backdrop of Telangana and dealt with the case of a missing girl, the sequel on the other hand will be set in Andhra Pradesh.
