Harry Potter: HBO Max’s The Harry Potter TV series is underway and it appears like HBO has struck a deal with book author J.K. Rowling. However, Warner Bros are right now in the process of making a deal with the author, to join this project as a produce.

In November 2021, the studio ‘Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses,’ a four-part quiz moderated by Helen Mirren. The quiz show featured performances by Matthew Lewis, Tom Felton and Luke Youngblood.

Recently, the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter: Returns to Hogwarts, a reunion episode which was released on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video. The episode shows the reunion of star cast Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint.

What TV CEO Channing Dungey said about the series? 

While talking about the series, TV CEO Channing Dungey earlier told the media outlet, “There is a tremendous amount of ambition for that, “TV CEO said, adding, “and we are engaged in a number of different conversations.” She added. “I wish I could tell you that something was imminent on the horizon but there is a lot of interest and a lot of passion for it. What’s great is that you see how the audience is so engaged and so ready.”
